DreamLight® DreamObjects is a LingOOP (Lingo Object Oriented Programming) framework of foundation classes for rapid development in Macromedia Directors Lingo. The DreamObjects framework is the culmination of over twenty years of award-winning interactive multimedia development. I created this framework to enable DreamLight to rapidly develop & deploy our own interactive multimedia projects. Now you too can benefit from DreamLights ground breaking work.
DLI_ActorMan is a simple free instructional example component of the DreamLight DreamObjects framework. The DLI_ActorMan component includes the following basic DreamObjects:
DLI_Object: An ancestor class that provides basic object identification, error reporting and linear multiple inheritance.
DLI_ActorMan: A simple interface to manage the actorList with the following services: addActor, deleteActor, clearActors, countActors, isActing, reportActors, showActors & safeUpdateStage
DLI_Actor: A specialization of the DLI_Object class which provides additional acting services for descendant objects including: startActing, stopActing and isActing.
