WOBURN,
MA – December 31, 2007 — DreamLight® today announced
the release of DLI_SNUB-Launcher™, DreamLight
Interactive’s ScreamerNet UB Launcher, an Aqua GUI front end
that interactively builds
the necessary command lines to launch LightWave 3D’s ScreamerNet
UB standalone, batch and network rendering command line component.
DLI_SNUB-Launcher’s
interactive interface makes configuring and launching LightWave
3D’s
ScreamerNet UB much more Mac like, user friendly and far less
error prone than doing so manually.
DLI_SNUB-Launcher is available
for immediate
download from the following URL:

“I created DLI_SNUB-Launcher while updating my Mastering
LightWave ScreamerNet for Mac OS X (DreamLight.com/insights/10) white
paper and tutorials for ScreamerNet UB. After writing up the
explanations for how
to configure and
launch ScreamerNet UB manually in Terminal, I felt the process
could be made more Mac friendly. So I set about writing
an Aqua GUI interface in XCode to interactively build the command
lines and launch multiple ScreamerNet UB render
nodes for standalone,
batch
and network rendering, making the entire process painless.” said Michael
Scaramozzino, DreamLight’s founder.
