Showcase Your Products in their Best Light with Photorealistic
3D Product Animation and 3D Product

Rendering
DreamLight creates photorealistic 3D product animation and illustration
by first building detailed 3D models of your
products including any components you’d like to highlight.
We can work from photographs, product samples, engineering
drawings or CAD files. Once we build and texture the 3D product
models we place them into a 3D virtual photo studio where
we can create full blown 3D animations to show how your products
are constructed or how they operate, emphasizing each product’s
key features and benefits.
We can create photorealistic 3D illustrations and 3D renderings
of your products from various angles. We use various
cutaway and see through techniques to reveal exactly what
you want to show in ways that traditional photography and
videography just can’t.
AS&E, American Science and Engineering wanted
to show 3D prototypes of their latest X-ray scanning devices
in
operation within a shipping port. DreamLight worked directly
with AS&E’s in-house engineering department to
bring their SolidWorks models into our animation software
where we
placed them into a virtual shipping port scene and generated
a
series of photorealistic 3D renderings of the various devices
throughout the port from multiple camera angles. DreamLight
also created 3D
product animations showing the devices in operation as
well as 3D
technology demonstration animations to explain how
the technology behind the devices works.
Tyco – AFC Cable Systems wanted
to show their color coded electrical cables in a way that
would make them jump right off the page
for a series of print advertisements and product
catalog covers. DreamLight built 3D virtual models of their
product line and positioned them into various configurations
enabling us to generate a
wide range of photorealistic 3D illustrations that really
brought them to life. Kidde Fenwal had a simple PowerPoint
presentation that they used to describe how their new explosion
suppression device operated,
but it often fell short of their expectations. They gave
DreamLight the PowerPoint presentation along with engineering
drawings of the device. We built a 3D virtual model of
the device and created a 3D
cutaway animation that described how the device functioned in
a much more engaging and effective manner than the simple
PowerPoint presentation that they
had previously used. We also created high
resolution 3D product renderings that could be used for marketing collateral. When the world’s premiere branded diamond company,
Hearts On Fire, wanted to create
an interactive CD-ROM catalog for their entire line of diamond
jewelry, they turned to
DreamLight Interactive. They initially wanted us to create
an interactive product catalog using their existing high
quality photography. We quickly realized however that the
full impact of a product as magical as diamond jewelry just
couldn’t be captured with traditional photography,
we needed something better. DreamLight created stunning
photorealistic 3D jewelry animation that allowed us to
show off the brilliance, scintillation and fire of the world’s
most perfectly cut diamonds. Our advanced in-house render
farm enabled us
to animate their entire product line of diamond jewelry,
in all available metal colors, with approximately three hundred
photorealistic 3D animations. We also created hundreds of high
resolution 3D jewelry illustrations for their print catalog.
When a world leading product innovation company, AEA
Technology,
needed to show the operation and function of their radioactive
static elimination device, StatAttack, they turned
to DreamLight Interactive. DreamLight’s experience
in communicating difficult to show scientific and technical
processes through 3D rendering and computer animation enabled
us to produce an interactive product CD-ROM that was much
more than a simple electronic product manual. Utilizing
3D animation software and our in-house render farm, DreamLight
created a
series of 3D animations that effectively showed the product’s function, storage and packaging. We then
built an interactive CD-ROM that allowed
the user to easily view the 3D animations as well as access
a full library of PDF documents.
Bose Corporation needed to show
how the special features of their advanced new audio products
separated them from
the competition. DreamLight used advanced 3D modeling to
build complete 3D models of their products. We then used
photorealistic 3D rendering to create 3D
cutaway illustrations & 3D
see-through illustrations that illustrated the specific features
and benefits of each product that Bose wished to highlight
in their targeted marketing messages.
